School groups
Over the years, we've hosted School Groups and worked with kids on School Camps to get them out mountain biking. With a max Instructor to Student ratio of 1:8, we work with youth in a fun, engaging and safe way to cover everything from Beginner to Advanced Mountain Biking skills. We can work with your school group to provide:
Mountain Bike instruction as part of outdoor education programme
Instruction on School Camps
Guided riding
Bike Packing trips and equipment
Fun bike based games and group activities
While our WORD Instructors are primarly based in Wānaka, Queenstown and Wellington get in touch to discuss riding and working with Schools in surrounding regions.
Birthday Parties
Super fun group ride with Mountain Bike skill instruction, loads of games and birthday party vibes to suit your little rider!

Private instruction
Sometimes we all just need a little more support and coaching to push through barriers and reach our goals. WORD is now offering youth private Mountain Bike instruction for either one on one or in smaller groups of similar age and ablities. Reach out with your goals and we will pair you up with the perfect instructor to help you reach them.
Private instruction pricing:
$200 for 1-2 person 2 hour session
$240 for 3-4 person 2 hour session
$280 for 5-6 person 2 hour session

Completing the Duke of Edinburgh award and wanting a unique challenge to make your experience special?
Already running a youth programme and wanting to add Mountain Bike instruction or a group ride in?
We can take care of all the H&S, risk management, planning and logistics, or work collabortively and play to our stregnths.
Costs starting from $20 per hour per participant (excludes GST).
